ParaModel (A Parametric Estimating Tool)

ParaModel is a parametric estimating tool that provides cost and schedule estimating support for projects that require development, production, modification, integration or testing of hardware, software, or both. ParaModel is not database driven; it is an algorithm based estimating tool developed from experience with hundreds of projects. It produces both development and production cost estimates and can be calibrated to company experience.

ParaModel offers:

  • Quality, Early Stage Estimates – Proven effective when compared to actual results, ParaModel can assist in Bid/No Bid decisions and other early stage decisions that can make a substantial impact on your company’s future.
  • Integrated Hardware and Software Estimates – Unlike traditional parametric models, ParaModel estimates can be done together; one interface, one process, with automatic integration of results.
  • Proposal Integration – ParaModel can prepare some or all of your estimates parametrically, then transfer the results easily to PPAS to integrate with other estimates or as the complete basis for the proposal cost estimate.
  • Management Focus – Develop presentations that are meaningful to management and analysts alike. ParaModel combines hardware and software estimates and supports presentations at any level of the WB
